During all the years of my involvement in Tae Kwon Do and in my travels to various countries in the world, I had the privilege to meet a number of Masters and Grandmasters. Each has a legacy but not many will be remembered for their integrity, fairness to all, unwavering stance to righteousness and that strict discipline in which Grandmaster Choy instilled and lead the BUTF from infancy.

A natural leader with a military background coupled with academic capabilities, which has enriched all BUTF instructors and members, with the benefits of not just the physical but more important, the mental development as a martial artist. Those who have come to know him will understand when I say, he will not only make you train and stretch hard but also make you roll on the floor with laughter with his great sense of humour.

Grandmaster Choy is the perfect head of a martial arts organization and as the BUTF celebrates 20 years of achievement, there is not a better time to celebrate the promotion of the one and only Grand Master Raymond M K Choy IX Dan.
