I would like to congratulate you for the truly earned promotion, Grandmaster RMK Choy.

I will always be grateful that I chose the BUTF to be my Taekwon-Do federation. Even with no martial arts knowledge or background, it was strikingly obvious that the school run by my Instructor Master Sangha was extremely professional and the standard of teaching second to none. And to me, the phrase "Second to none" epitomises the ethos Grandmaster Choy has insisted on throughout all areas of our beloved art.

From my own experience, I know, I would never have reached a quarter of the levels I have reached, if it wasn’t for Grandmaster Choy's insistence on every element of the art being performed to a minimum standard-HIGH!

For those of us that are not naturals, that means to knuckle down and work hard until you get it right! Grandmaster Choy even offered me personal extra assistance, above and beyond the call of duty. And did I accept? You bet! Those sessions are among the hardest I've had, performing, tweaking, fine tuning and practicing some more.
