The first time I met Master Choy was around 1990 at a BTC competition which was being held at the Battersea sport centre. On that day I noticed how well run the event was; it left a lasting memory of the way. The man in charge conducted every last detail and still does.
They say you cannot write your own destiny; they are right because no less that two Years later I found myself with a choice to make, did I want to continue with T.K.D or not.
At that point I picked up the phone and rang the B.U.T.F and spoke to Master Choy. With his help and advice I made the decision to join the B.U.T.F.
I could go on and on about Master Choy but I would really like to say that in the past eighteen years I have come to regard the extent of his knowledge of Tae Kwon Do and also life in general. During those eighteen years I have found Master Choy to be besides being a really good teacher, a friend to me and my family.
We would like to congratulate Master Choy on his promotion to Grand Master.
As we say in my country cent ànni.
