Mr Shakespeare III

Martial Arts have been a part of my life for almost as long as I can remember. As a child my elder brother and I would regularly attend our local Karate club which I thoroughly enjoyed.

I discovered Taekwon-do, which in my view is a more powerful and exciting Martial Art

I joined the Chesham school in February 2008 under the instruction of Master Whitley who has helped me through all my gradings

which allowed me to progress through a very efficient and challenging syllabus, to attain my black belt in 2013.  I attained my 2nd Dan in 2015, my 3rd Dan in 2017 and am looking forward to my 4th Dan, and I am very grateful for all his mentoring and direction

It was a huge privilege in January 2015 to open my first school in Great Missenden, the success of the school is very evident with the students’ constant gradings and medal hauls from their various competitions, so much so I decided in September 2017 to open my second school in Penn Street.

This has given me an even better opportunity to teach the Martial Art I truly love to many more students, and also most of my original students have now started training twice or more a week.

I encourage anyone who is interested in taking up a sport that is different, challenging, and certainly builds your confidence, to come along and give Taekwon-do a go.
